H-2B SEASONAL WORKERS

The H-2B visa is for temporary, skilled or unskilled foreign nationals who will be working for employers in the US who cannot find qualified workers because of heavy demand.  Examples of temporary jobs under this visa are waiters and cooks for country clubs during the club’s peak season need; ski instructors and personnel for ski resorts during the winter season; construction jobs for the completion of a building project. The maximum initial period of stay is one year.
